Looking for a unique venue for your next event? RiverStage Community Theatre offers rental opportunities throughout the year when the theatre is not in use for productions. Our intimate performance space has hosted a wide variety of events, including lectures, dance recitals, concerts, rehearsals, community meetings, workshops, photo and video shoots, private performances, and special gatherings.
We are proud to make our theatre available to local organizations, performing arts groups, businesses, educators, and community members seeking a flexible and welcoming event space.
Additional Technical Support
Technical assistance can be provided during your event as needed.
Basic Technical Support – $25/hr
- House lighting operation
- Basic sound setup
- Event startup and shutdown assistance
Advanced Technical Support – $40/hr
- Running lighting cues
- Operating sound throughout the event
- Full technical support during performances or presentations
Discount Opportunities
A 20% rental discount is available for:
- Registered non-profit organizations
- Small unincorporated arts organizations
- RiverStage subscribers
- Producer-level sponsors
Producer-level sponsors are organizations or businesses that contribute $500 or more annually to RiverStage Community Theatre.
Rental Policies
- All rentals require a two-hour minimum reservation.
- Depending on the nature of the event, a refundable cleaning and damage deposit may be required.
- Level 1: Small Event rentals generally include gatherings of fewer than 60 participants, such as meetings, rehearsals, workshops, classes, and private events not open to the public.
- Level 2: Large Event rentals generally include events with more than 60 participants or any public performance, presentation, or ticketed event.
- Larger productions requiring extended rehearsal, setup, or strike time may require a customized rental arrangement.
Multi-Day Events & Productions
For events lasting more than two consecutive days, RiverStage may offer alternative pricing options, including:
- Standard rental rates plus a percentage of ticket sales or funds raised
- A negotiated flat-rate rental fee plus a percentage of ticket sales or funds raised
- Other customized rental structures based on the scope and needs of the event
Long-Term Rental Partners
RiverStage values its ongoing partnerships with local arts organizations and community groups. Existing long-term rental partners will continue to receive their established pricing structures, with modest adjustments made only when necessary to reflect rising operational costs.
