During the holiday season, RiverStage once again partnered with Strictly Ballet to present A Lewisburg Victorian Nutcracker. This cherished community tradition delighted audiences of all ages with beautiful choreography, festive music by Tchaikovsky, and a uniquely local Victorian-era interpretation of the beloved holiday classic.

In February, audiences traveled across time and space with A Wrinkle in Time, adapted from Madeleine L’Engle’s treasured novel. The production brought Meg Murry’s extraordinary journey to life, celebrating courage, love, and the power of individuality through imaginative storytelling and stunning theatrical design.

Spring featured tick, tick… BOOM!, Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical musical about ambition, creativity, and the passage of time. Filled with energy, humor, and heartfelt emotion, the production offered an inspiring glimpse into the life of the visionary composer before his groundbreaking success with Rent.

The season concluded with Into the Woods, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s acclaimed musical that intertwines beloved fairy tale characters into a rich and thought-provoking story about wishes, consequences, family, and community. The production served as a memorable finale to a season filled with imagination, artistry, and exceptional performances.
