A weekend in a secluded mansion?  What could go wrong?  THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE tells the story of Dr. John Montague, an investigator of the supernatural, who invites people with “psychic experience” to a brooding, Victorian mansion for some harmless scientific experiments.  When two young women, Eleanor and Theodora,  agree to spend the weekend there with Montague (and the young heir to the estate, Luke), all four begin to experience strange events in the house.  Soon, it is up to these intrepid visitors to probe the secrets of the old house and draw forth its mysterious powers—powers which have brought madness and death to those who have come before them!

Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House was a 1959 finalist for the National Book Award, has been remade into two films, and inspired the Netflix series of the same name.  Don’t miss your chance to see this thriller LIVE at RiverStage—get your tickets today at www.riverstagetheatre.org !
