Rentals

Did you know that our stage and auditorium at RiverStage are available for rental events between our productions?  We have hosted lectures, dance recitals, large group meetings, photo and music video shoots, concerts, and more!

RiverStage Community Theatre is pleased to be able to offer our stage and auditorium for local individuals and groups to rent for events, in between the times when we need the space for our productions. On this page, we give some general guidelines on our standard fee schedule for rentals–if you are interested in talking with us further about an upcoming event that you would like to host at our theatre, please get in touch with us at info@riverstagetheatre.org! Give us a general idea of what type of event you have in mind, the desired timeframe, and your contact information and we look forward to talking with you!

Notes:
1. All rentals require a 2-hour minimum.
2. Depending on event, cleaning deposit may be required (refundable if not used).
3. “Level 1: Small Event” = generally, an event with <60 participants such as a meeting, rehearsal, or small social function not open to the public.
4. “Level 2: Large Event” = generally, an event with >60 participants or any-sized events in which tickets are sold and an audience is present.
5. In cases where there will be a large performance or event but additional rehearsal or setup time is needed, we are happy to combine levels as appropriate.
6. For events lasting more than two consecutive days or nights, alternative fees can be negotiated, such as: (1) the renter will pay fees for “small events” plus agreed upon percentage of tickets/funds raised; or (2) renter will pay an agreed-upon flat fee plus percentage of tickets/funds raised; or (3) other arrangements depending on circumstances.
7. We will continue to honor rental fees for long-standing renters, with modest price increases for inflation.
