“There IS such thing as a tesseract….” “A Wrinkle In Time” by Morgan Gould is a faithful, ensemble-driven adaptation of the beloved novel by Madeleine L’Engle. First published in 1962, the book won the Newbery Medal, the Sequoyah Book Award, the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award, and tells the story of 3 young characters–Meg Murry, Charles Wallace Murry, and Calvin O’Keefe–who embark on a journey through space and time. Traveling from galaxy to galaxy, they endeavor to rescue the Murrys’ father and fight an unspeakable evil that has intruded into several worlds. The story offers a glimpse into the struggle between light and darkness, and good and evil, and themes of love, divinity, and goodness.
